Kenosha County is located in eastern Wisconsin, along Lake Michigan. It is named for the city of Kenosha.
The seat and largest city are both Kenosha. This is considered to be an instrumental city in the Chicago Metropolitan Area.
The county borders Racine and Walworth Counties in Wisconsin. It also borders McHenry and Lake Counties in Illinois.
Main highways include I-41, I-94, US-41, US-45, WI-31, WI-32, WI-50 and WI-83.
